Program Participants meet 2-3 times a week for 6 weeks to build confidence to be physically active. Program includes walking routines and a walking book.
A program designed to reduce the fears of falling, diminish the risk of falling and improve activity levels. Class meets 1-2 times a week for a total of 8 sessions.
Exploring the ancient art of Tai chi this program is designed to relieve pain and gain balance, flexibility and strength. Tai chi can be done seated or standing ; Class meets 2x a week for 45-60 minutes.
In these six-week classes, participants make weekly action plans, share experiences, and help each other solve problems they encounter in creating and carrying out their self-management program. Class include:

One hour class that includes, balance, strength, cardio and stretching. All equipment is provided and may include bands, weights and mini balls.
Research based Nutrition Presentation on diabetes, eating for one, or Eating healthy for older adults. Plus food demo with additional cost for food. Other presentation topics can be requested at time of booking.
